The final implementation of changes to the Companies Act 2006 became effective in October 2009.  For the first time the company director's responsibilities and duties are specifically laid out in this new company law.  All Company Directors, both new and established, should ensure they are fully aware of what these duties are, and what they mean to their role as a company director.
